Margarita Cruz received her MFA in Creative Writing from Northern Arizona University. Former editor-in-chief of Thin Air Magazine, she is currently a columnist for Flagstaff Live!, serves as Vice President of the Northern Arizona Book Festival, an assistant editor for Tolsun Books, and interns for the Flagstaff Foundry. When she’s not reading, writing, or building community, she is often out hiking in the high desert she has found a home in. Her works can be found or are forthcoming in [PANK], DIAGRAM, and the New Delta Review among others. In 2021, she published her first chapbook, Amerixana, with Ignite Press out of Chatham University’s MFA program.
